We seek to educate and create awareness in our church family by highlighting disability issues through sermon illustrations, interviews, media, and special events like our recent Let it Shine celebration service.

Deaf and Hard of hearing : Manor is equipped with a hearing assist system. Headsets are available at the information desk. If you are interested in attending a service and desire to have an interpreter, please contact the church office in advance.

Inclusion : One-on-One Buddies are available for those who need personal assistance in order to participate in a class or so family members can attend worship services. Contact Christie if you would like a Buddy.

Thrive offers a place of authentic connection for women caring for a family member affected by disability. We gather from 6:30-8:30pm one Monday a month in the Connections Cafe. Thrive starts in September, dates will be posted. This group is designed to nurture relationships with God and others that strengthen and sustain you even in the stormiest seasons of life.

There is always a need for additional volunteers to help do the important work of including individuals and families affected by disability in the life of the church! Background clearances are required. Training will be provided for those who desire to serve. No special professional background is needed.

One to One Buddies Volunteers serve during one service Sunday morning, one–two times a month. Role involves supporting a child or teen with special needs so they can participate in programming to the fullest extent they are able. Allows parents to worship without distraction while children encounter Jesus in a way that is meaningful to them.

Journeys Volunteer Volunteers attend monthly event for adults with special needs in order to provide friendship and support. Meets third Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm.
